There are still spaces available for Studio T Urban Dance Academy’s Summer of Urban Performing Arts Workshop. The popular summer introduction to dance, music, and theatre for kids in 3rd through 12th grades offers a choice of eleven sessions (June 7–August 28).

According to Studio T’s Youth program Director Tamaira Sandifer, “When the kids get here they are overwhelmed with excitement. It amazes me how open they are to new experiences and how quickly they pick up the material and bloom. They have such creative imaginations, learning about dance, theatre, and music only makes the overall experience amazing, for everyone.”

A faculty of professional instructors leads students through a fun-filled exploration of motion, creative play, rhythm and movement, and character development.

Summer Workshop graduates have an opportunity to audition for Studio T’s Performing Arts Company for Youth and Teens beginning August 30, 2010. After one year of training, they will travel across the country competing and training with industry elites.
